Lori Alfonso, Founder and Principal of Alfonso Search, LLC, is an Executive Recruiter specializing in the placement of Accounting and Finance professionals. She created her company to provide an outstanding service for candidates and clients as well as an outlet for her quick wit, humor, and enthusiasm. 

Lori brings two decades of search experience that includes working in-house to support the Global Finance function for a Fortune 500 company,managing the Executive Search Division for a Multi-National Recruiting Agency and establishing the Financial Search Division for a Portland-based boutique search firm. Lori’s continued achievements in the Pacific Northwest have earned her several awards and national acclaim for her successes in candidate placement.

Lori’s enthusiasm for accounting started in college where she was recognized with an Academic Achievement Scholarship from Deloitte & Touche. Lori received a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, graduating magna cum laude from Washington State University. During the completion of her degree, she was recruited to join the audit team of Moss Adams in Seattle where she earned her CPA License. 

As a recovering CPA who still loves accounting theory, Lori is applying her many years of search experience and her network to create Alfonso Search, LLC. Lori’s clients and candidates speak often of her ability to establish and maintain long-term relationships which is why so much of her business is based on referrals. Lori has an unforgettable energy and tenacity for delivering top candidates and incredible service to hiring managers.
